TEMPERED/ TOUGHENED GLASS

Toughened glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to enhance its strength compared with annealed glass. Safety is paramount for this type of glass and we ensure that even when this glass breaks, it shatters into bluntly- edged tiny pieces.

Toughened glass is 4 times stronger than annealed glass.

Applications

Building facades, shop fronts, railings, shower cubicles, partitions, doors and windows, etc.

HEAT STRENGTHENING GLASS

Heat strengthening has excellent optical clarity while maintaining strong mechanical and thermal stress capabilities while eliminating the risk of spontaneous breakage. Heat strengthening also ensures that fragments remain in the frame, even in case of unlikely breaking.

Heat strengthening glass is twice as strong as annealed glass.

Applications

Building facades, Curtain walls, etc.

LACQUERED GLASS

Lacquered glass is a type of decorative glass that possesses a layer of colour coating on one of its surfaces. This lacquered glass coating is baked and curved in the oven. Since the glass is back painted, lacquered glass possesses an opaque coloured appearance to enhance the aesthetic brilliance of homes and offices. But, lacquered glass cannot be toughened.

● Increases visual appeal
● Easy to maintain and clean
● Resistant to moisture and heat

Applications

Wall panels, Cupboards and cabinets, etc.

You can enjoy the fluid visual appeal of vibrant shades, textures and patterns that will inject your interiors with newfound life. LAMINATED GLASS

Laminated glass provides a very strong, yet transparent layer which makes a great alternative for traditional glass. Laminated glass is manufactured by adhering two or more layers of glass together with a flexible PVB interlayer. This takes place through a heat and pressure process in which the chemical bond formed between the glass and PVB interlayer does not merely join them but ‘conjoins’ them to create an entirely new material.

Why Laminated Glass?

● Increased security
● Reduced emissions
● Reduced noise pollution
● UV Control

Applications

COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS: One of the major safety concerns for commercial building owners has been forced entry. While large doors and windows are essential and aesthetically valuable for such buildings, burglars often target these parts, which are the Achilles heel of homes and buildings. It's hard to break the laminated glass and the shape of the glass may be maintained even if it is broken.

AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRIES: The special property that makes it sturdier than regular glass and therefore, ideal for use in windshields. Laminated glass also displays high resistance to shattering. Thus, it also cuts down the risk of cuts and injuries and ensures the safety of the driver and passengers. The high sound proofing ability of laminated glass prevents the driver from distracted by outside noises and therefore it is less likely to incur damage because of audible external distraction.

INSULATING GLASS

An insulating glass unit is a contemporary glass composed of multiple panes sealed together with air space in between, which gives the glass its insulating properties by separating the outside pane from the inside pane. As annealed glass fails to sustain expected wind forces and severe weather conditions, it is an unsafe material choice for outdoor applications. In turn, the increased strength of insulating glass units makes them the most preferred glass type for residential, commercial and industrial structural glazing. Multiple layers of glass boost the strength of the design element, making it more durable, resilient and secure.

Applications

Insulating glass is traditionally used at office buildings, Hospitals, Hotels, Houses and those buildings where large amounts of heating or cooling is required. Those places where humidity and temperature needs to be controlled. Thermal insulation allows it to take the load off heating and cooling equipment. It also makes it much easier to achieve a desired indoor temperature without excessive use of power and energy.

SHOWER CUBICLES:

Shower cubicles have become an integral part of the Modern Bathroom. Besides serving the functional purpose of separating wet & dry areas it gives elegance and style to the Bathroom. It takes the aesthetic of the bathroom to the next level. Shower cubicles make the bathroom dry, hygienic and safe. Restricting the water inside the wet room only, shower cubicles keep the entire bathroom dry, thus making it bacteria free and hygienic. Shower cubicles reduce the chances of slippery danger making a bathroom safe. Space has become the most precious commodity in cities today and a shower cubicles help save space.

GLASS CANOPY:

Glass canopies create a modern addition to the external face of properties. Utilizing it in building design adds a contemporary twist to the facade while enhancing the surrounding architectural design. They can be used for a variety of external additions including balconies and to create a contemporary front porch. Glass canopies can also be designed to offer a shelter over seating areas next to buildings, such as a bench placed against the external face of the building. The addition of a structural glass canopy can both enhance the architectural design of the property and create a unique design feature itself. A laminated glass contains the inner layer that provides strength to the whole glass. This inner layer is the basis of its durability and can go thru unbreakable under rigid human or machinery momentums. It is best for the canopies as it impedes harmful rays and provides perfect security measures against any bulgers attack and other kinds of misshapen.
